With on-going and continued access to Sharon’s ever-growing experience, expertise and wealth of knowledge as a competitive rider who has competed at every level right up to the World Equestrian Games and the Olympics, taking up a place as a Resident Rider on the Sharon Hunt Eventing yard gives promising young competitors the very best chance of success. Sharon says: “I thoroughly enjoy being able to pass my knowledge and experience on to the future generation of my sport.”
One rider who had a place as a Resident Rider with Sharon in 2016 was Eloise Carter, who, after training with Sharon was selected for the Pony Europeans and – aboard her amazing Alfie (a pony that Sharon helped Eloise select) – was part of a team that secured a silver.
Eloise says: “What I’ve learnt from Sharon in the last three seasons has been immeasurable to me and, therefore, I owe the most part of my success to her”.
